I am needing a Magento Ninja who can sneak into the core on special missions, achieving the objective with a minimum of collateral damage. I have a list of modifications I need made to the core functionality, specializing Magento to my needs. I'm a PHP programmer myself, but being new to Magento and the Zend Framework I spend far too long trying to track down the target for modifications. I need somebody familiar with the landscape to make smart modifications more efficiently. Specific tasks on the agenda: 1. To have a single product with multiple prices. (ie: a "Senior's Discount") Multiple price points must affect a single inventory. (One approach I was playing with was having a Simple Product as the "Inventory Control", Two Bundle Products, linked to the Inventory Control, with the two price points, and finally a Group for the two Bundles. However, I've been unable to successfully group Bundle products.) 2. Unique downloads that are personalized for each order. I'm comfortable with the creation of the PDF file if you can help me by having Magento pass the data in a specific way. If you can do those two for me, you will be my Magento hero and I'll gladly have further missions for you. Due to a "bad experience" I've had, I will stress that I need modifications to the core functionality of Magento, and not just pasted-on template hacks. Also, it may be helpful to note that I'm not concerned with future compatibility. I'm using Magento as a basis for a heavily customized project. Please reply with some sort of message that will make me confident of your abilities, and your hourly rate. Also, responses are appreciated ASAP, as I will want to work with the first person that seems like a good fit. |
