WHAT I HAVE I have a current site at www.tabletucker.com.au - Joomla Site/ Australian Hosting I have a new MAGENTA site loaded at http://tabletucker.com.au/shop/index.php WHAT I'VE BEEN THROUGH I built my own Joomla site with some Joomla experience last year for November release of my inspirational book. When my book came out I was inundated with orders. My site was too slow and cumbersome to use. Customers experienced login errors etc. I moved my hosting to an Australian power host which has unlimited bandwidth so it can handle alot of customers. I changed to "Interspire" which turned out to be a complete nightmare after which point I moved my "old Joomla site" to the new host. I had an elancer fix up the errors but I am still stuck with a really dodgy little site that my customers don't like. In the meantime my customer base of about 3,000 and 1,000 newsletter subscribers are very frustrated. So I am trying to minimise problems to them. My book will be re-released in Australia Sept 09 to the mass-market at which point I will be getting large volumes of visitors. WHAT I AM LOOKING FOR 1. To form a longstanding relationship with a brilliant web designer who can assist me on a regular basis with Magento site, design, advertising, admin requirements 2. Designer to install a template I choose onto my new Magenta site located here http://tabletucker.com.au/shop/index.php. 3. To make the new design have similar colours and look and feel (branding) as my exising site www.tabletucker.com.au 4. To keep spaces where I put picture 'placeholders' so I can add my own pictures etc. (After implementation of new template). 5. To add some kind of 'rolling' advertising banner on site for my own advertising and other advertising I would like to add. 6. Import all my existing orders and customers from spreadsheets or access I provide to consultant. I have 1 x orders/ customers on current joomla site. 1 x orders/customers from interspire spreadsheet backup 1 x newsletter subscriber customer list I can provide on spreadsheet or you can access NOTE: Is it possible to import customers passwords so the move is seamless and they don't have to register again? I would like this done if possible. 7. Set up my order management (with an extension?) so that my logistics company can print off all orders at once easily if that is possible. 8. Set up my newsletter subscribers as per above. 9. Install a knowledge manager extension into website so my customers can learn about my product 10. Install MYOB integration into site for export 11. When site is ready move it to the main domain www.tabletucker.com.au 12. Set up payment options on site to include: Paypal, Direct Deposit, Payments by Cheque and Money Order and also "SecurePay" using the Fontis plugin. (Note: I am currently just setting up for SecurePay) NOTE: The scope of this job may increase as we go along. I will add extras on as new projects if I find extensions I need. The basics of what I need are above. NOTE: I currently already have merchant set up with NETREGISTRY. If you are able to implement this to Magento I would be very happy! Please advise. NEXT PROJECT WILL BE - If all goes well and I'm happy 1. Website optimization and SEO 2. Testing and making sure my google analytics etc works with site DOWN THE TRACK - FUTURE (After Sept 2009) 1. Producing an IPhone application for my weekly grocery lists I send out via my newsletter (possibly beforehand) 2. Further sites (in the one site on Magento) to split into Australia versus International sales and merchandise. I really hope you can help me because I am really over it...!
