I want a module that extends the functionality of reviews so that you can "vote" on a review. A logged-in user can vote once per review as to whether it was helpful, with a "thumbs up" / "thumbs down" voting system. The database should store, per review, how many users have voted on it, how many have found it helpful, and *who* (by user ID) has voted on it to ensure no user votes twice. For every review, we can assign a "helpfulness" score, as calculated by (number of votes helpful / total number of votes). Reviews without any votes will be have an automatic "helpfulness" score of 0. Reviews should be sorted by their helpfulness, and then by date (for those reviews with the same score). |
