We are looking for someone that can help us take our current dream and make it a reality. Scope of project: Take finished PSD files and appropriatly develop our theme and skin for the current Magento Enterprise website we have installed and currently in testing mode. Looking for someone who makes sure to use standard when creating out skin, like the following: • W3C Validation • Cross Browser Compatibility • Pixel Perfect Conversion • Write code conforming to various accessibility standards • Clean and elegant coding habits Our skin design is heavily based upon the Magento "Modern Theme" So please keep that in mind.. we just want some nicer additions to it. Along side of helping us skin our site, we also need help with a custom navigation bar that is really the key part of our project. This navigation bar must be dynamic, and allow for not only categories but CMS pages within the listings as well. We want something elegantly designed that is almost modular like where we can administer it on the backend of magento. I have attached a PSD mockup of the front page with the nav menu flown out to give a visual representation of what this nav bar will look like and how it will function. Key elements of this nav bar: • integration of both magento categories and CMS pages • easy to use administration from behind the scenes • 50x50 pixel "teaser pictures" assigned to categories to view within the menu. See attached example • Banner implementation within the menu system The way we envision this navigation menu pulls data just like the current menu bar does. For instance if they were to hover over "Products"... they would see "Premium Sinks & Faucets" "Solid Surface & Stone Fabrication" and "New and Noteworthy" as available categories/sections. Within "Premium Sinks and Faucets" is "Acrylic Sinks" "Stainless steel" "Granite Sinks" and so on.. and within each one of those categories are sub categories... More details and a complete writeup is available for this project, but these two major pieces are what we are currently looking for. Skinning, and Nav Menu Development. Content within the page would not have to be worried about, we just want you to make sure we have JS properly placed on the page for some of our custom HTML that require it, and a few specific "1 column" "2 column" "3 column" and "blank" pages available for us to stream other content within. Skin of Domain Industries Website The theme creation of the domain industries website, to be tested and deployed on the “development” version of our Magento Enterprise, tested, and once finalized and complied with - the same thing being installed on our Live site. Skinning will consist of: • site skin and feel (backgrounds, buttons, etc.) • Create 5 key page layout templates (structural blocks) to place our content blocks - 1 column, 2 columns with left bar, 2 columns with right bar, 3 columns, and empty. • Create the correct layout of a products details page. Create the correct layout for a simple product, grouped product, bundled product, and configurable product (mockups provided) • modify system pages to fit within our skin (account page, shopping cart, checkout) • Modify account registration and login pages to match our skin (samples provided) • Modify the way a “bundled products” page of options functions. Custom Navigation Bar The creation of Domain Industries custom navigation bar found on all pages of the website. Instructions outlined in scope. Custom Product Image Gallery Develop the product image gallery that will be displayed on all of the product pages. Sample provided in the photoshop file. Live sample of how we see this working can be found at this site: http://www.lodgerfootwear.com/som/finsbury-balmoral-brogue-0910.html We have cropped all of our product images at exactly 970 x 450 px to be completely compatible with this type of gallery. I have also scaled down this larger image when creating thumbnails in my photoshop files, so it should work perfectly across the board for generating thumbnails at correct proportionate sizes and displaying a stunning gallery. Custom Newsletter Functionality The creation of Domain Industries custom navigation bar found on all pages of the website. Custom Page Functionality We need a few custom attributes to show up in specific places on the products details page, as well as modify how a bundled product is shown when a customer is configuring options. We want to add a description for each option, as well as a visual icon. |
