I am looking for someone who is well versed with MAGENTO. I have a website CRISTIANA which is already on MAGENTO and I do not want to change that. What I am looking for is a re-skin in terms of refreshing my website however I know exactly what I want and it is just a matter of almost copying it and making it my own…and also tidying up the check out section of my current website. I think the check out is clunky and messy and I am sure we can streamline this process and make it easier and cleaner and more crisp - perhaps a single page check out My shopping basket is on PayPal and Eway so everything is already set up. As I really know what I want..it is just finding the right person and then to making sure the links and SEO and key words are effective. SEO friendly urls! Look at the Alex and Ani website as an example -- 90% of what I want is there…..it is just a matter of making it mine now. I have two collections Love + Liberty (Bracelets and Necklaces) and Silver Spirit (Bracelets and Necklaces). And from time to time have a range named Vintage Cristiana where I have old pieces to clear. I also know that my site can be layered with other software to allow me to get what I want but in all honesty I think MAGENTO has so much flexibility that I do not know of. I DO NOT want to change it to another platform as I am getting used to Magento however I will need some support on an ongoing basis to upload publicity pages etc and to help me with coupons for promos etc. I am aware that Magento allows one to create as many custom pages as required however I probably do not need that much as I think some of the ready templates will suit my needs. I have attached screen shots with comments of what I want using the Alex and Ani website as my template website so overall I know what I want. I have loads of Publicity and normally need help loading this. I think the Publicity Section needs some re configuring as Current and Past do not represent the section well. I also need some new newsletter templates developed as I only have 1 template which does not work well for me and I am tired of it. So in short a couple of newsletter designs – I know that Magento allows for flexibility in random usage of these templates. Templates for regular use and I want some of this too. I am able to do quite a bit myself eg. loading images and copy, making changes to existing copy, notices on notifications however some of them are badly done and can be much improved. I am very price conscious and time precious. I have had such bad luck with suppliers using a number of Magento 'experts'. I am so behind on my time line in launching my new collection. The products are already on Magento and are all disabled waiting to go live but I've held off wanting to launch the new collection with the new look. I hope the information above is a good start and is useful to you. Looking to working with someone passionate on a long term basis. |
